The Massachusetts Bar Association welcomes back our Labor & Employment members to the 46th Annual Labor & Employment Spring Conference. This year’s conference will be an in-person event at Suffolk University Law School on Thursday, May 29. Faculty presenters include keynote speaker Lauren Goldman Moran, chief of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Fair Labor Division, as well as a number of judges and accomplished attorneys who will provide significant thought leadership in the areas of labor and employment law.

Social media has vastly changed the ways in which individuals communicate and interact with each other.  Whether employers can limit and monitor employee activism when it invades or disrupts the workplace is a palpable concern for many. This panel will discuss how far employers can go when attempting to restrain employee activism and employee speech, employees’ rights, key considerations, and recent case law.  This expert panel will further explore the degree to which the change in the administration may impact the workplace.
